New campaign - Let's fight Racism

racismcampaignRacism, xenophobia and intolerance are problems prevalent in all societies. Each and every one of us plays a role in either contributing to or breaking down racial prejudice and intolerant attitudes.

The UN has launched a social media campaign called "Let's Fight Racism" in a joint effort by the Department of Public Information and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to engage with the general public.

The campaign website offers a number of ways in which you can spread the word and help promote this initiative. It also suggests ways in which you you can take part, either by sharing, stories, videos and e-cards, or by taking a quiz and checking out the UN's Global Action Plan to combat racism.

Below is a list of suggested twitter and facebook friendly updates that you can share to get friends, family and colleagues involved in the campaign.
