Until there is PeaceOn the occasion of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, Ciné-ONU Geneva screened: ‘Until there is peace’. Documentary on UN peacekeeping operations in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

“Until there is peace” follows UN Peacekeepers from Malawi, South Africa and Tanzania, known as the Force Intervention Brigade in their daily struggle to protect local populations in the biggest peacekeeping mission in the world in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

 

 

The screening was followed by a discussion with:

  • Melonie Kastman, Director of the film
  • General Jean Baillaud, Former deputy Commander of the MONUSCO.
  • Rhéal LeBlanc, moderator, Head of Press and External Relations Section.
