The IUSS and FAO\u2019s GSP Selection Committee will evaluate all book submissions, and\u00a0<b>the winner will be announced by the IUSS President on World Soil Day.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><b>The finalists will be chosen based on creativity and originality, quality of the informational content, technical and scientific proficiency, and artistic\/visual impact of the book.<\/b>\u00a0The winner will receive a cash prize of 1 000 USD, second and third classified will receive a cash prize of 500 USD and 250 USD, respectively, from IUSS and FAO\u2019s GSP.<\/p>\n<div id=\"c945546\" class=\"csc-default\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic csc-textpic-intext-left\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic-text\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Submit your freestyle book proposal for children\u202fbased on the WSD 2023 motto: &#8220;Soil and water, a source of life&#8221;.\u202fThe book is intended for children between 6 and 11 years old\u202fand\u202fmust feature at least one of the following elements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"bodytext\"><b>Convey scientific knowledge<\/b>\u00a0about healthy soil and clean water, emphasizing their key role in achieving sustainable and resilient agrifood systems for ensuring global food security;<\/li>\n<li class=\"bodytext\"><b>Highlight the relationship between soil health and clean water<\/b>.
