This week, Elyx, digital ambassador of the United Nations, will be present in more than 800 stations and in the metros of four major cities in France, to highlight sustainable development, to avoid a “return to the abnormal” after the COVID-19 pandemic and to build a society that protects the people and the planet.<\/p>\n
Organized with the support of the Publicis Group’s Media Transports agency, this campaign, initiated and designed by the\u00a0Elyx\u00a0Foundation<\/a>, will focus on Agenda 2030. Agenda 2030 is a plan of action\u00a0to transform the world, broken down into 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and adopted by the 193 Member States of the United Nations in 2015.\u00a0The campaign is supported by UNRIC.<\/p>\n Four video animations will be visible, for more than a week, on digital panels in 837 stations across France and in the metros of Paris, Toulouse, Rennes and Marseille.<\/p>\n These animations present the 17 Sustainable Development Goals divided\u00a0into four themes: living together,\u00a0inclusive economy, environmental protection and international solidarity.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “We aspire to a different world. We want a different world now.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n “The COVID-19 crisis reveals, more than ever, how interconnected and interdependent we are. Pandemics, such as pollution or climate change, but also inequalities know no borders. Our destinies are inextricably linked, and we cannot leave anyone\u00a0behind at the\u00a0risk of suffering the consequences for everyone,” says\u00a0Yacine\u00a0Ait\u00a0Kaci, founder of\u00a0Elyx\u00a0and president of the Foundation of the same name.<\/p>\n “We know it,\u00a0or we feel it. As we come out of confinement, we aspire to a different world. Now,” he adds.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A unique opportunity to rebuild our world, and to make it better.<\/strong><\/p>\n At a recent conference at the end of April, attended by 35 countries, the United Nations Secretary-General said, “We have a rare and short window of opportunity to rebuild our world better. Let us use the post-pandemic economic recovery to lay the foundations for a safe, healthy, inclusive and more sustainable world for all people.<\/p>\n
