Photographers and videographers of all levels are invited to submit stories that relate to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/flores.unu.edu\/en\/research\/nexus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resource Nexus<\/a>\u00a0and one or more of the following themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agriculture<\/li>\n<li>Forests<\/li>\n<li>Circular Economy<\/li>\n<li>Climate Change<\/li>\n<li>Biodiversity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submissions should do one or both of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Showcase the\u00a0<strong>impact of<\/strong>\u00a0any of the above on the Resource Nexus or\u00a0<strong>vice versa<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Showcase\u00a0<strong>positive action<\/strong>\u00a0for sustainable development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to engaging a growing community of audiovisual storytellers, especially with increased digitalisation and access to handheld photo\/videography globally, the contest aims to create a lasting impact by providing a platform for these sustainability stories to be told and amplified. A desired outcome of the activity is not just a heightened level of awareness of sustainability issues from the perspective of the respective themes, but also the mobilisation of civic action to do something for the planet.<\/p>\n<p>Winning entries\u00a0<span class=\"aCOpRe\">\u2014<\/span>\u00a0with cash prizes worth up to 2,000 euros\u00a0<span class=\"aCOpRe\">\u2014<\/span>\u00a0will be judged based on their relevance to the themes, originality and creativity, and inspirational power or potential social impact.
