1. Register for the Pre-Summit

Registration for the UN Food Systems Pre-Summit from July 26 to 28 is now available! Everyone everywhere can join farmers, youth, Indigenous Peoples, researchers, ministers, chefs and others on a vast virtual platform working to create better food systems for all.

2. New Independent Dialogues Synthesis Report

A review of more than 100 discussions out of more than 600 Independent Dialogues taking place globally found 10 common themes for successful food systems transformation. Among the themes that emerged in a new synthesis report were diversity, equity, transparency, the need to shift perspectives, and the need to adapt solutions to local contexts.

3. UNFSS and the World Food Forum (WFF) Youth Consultation – LAST DAY 12 JULY

The Summit together with WFF and youth organizations have launched an online Youth Consultation to provide youth globally the opportunity to complement, enhance and commit towards bold actions for the transformation of food systems and create a world with good food for all! The online consultation will run from 29 June to 12 July 2021.

The Summit has revealed the 15 action areas with more than 50 solution clusters that will serve as a key element to underpin discussions at the Pre-Summit. Each action area, developed by more than 500 members of the Summit’s five Action Tracks, represents a cluster of game-changing propositions that aim to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals by transforming entire food systems.
