The 2021 International Green Gown Awards are now open for applications. The awards are supported by UN Environment and are open to any university or college across the world.
The International Green Gown Awards believe in students and the power of education and aim to help identify the best ideas and encourage others to take action. Students and universities are full of world-changing sustainability ideas, but for too long their Award-winning solutions to the climate and environmental crisis have been ignored.
Help get the word out and globally scale their brilliance. The deadline for applications is 31st March 2021.
Recognising exceptional sustainability initiatives being undertaken by the world’s universities and colleges, the award sets the bar and puts every learning institution at the heart of delivering on the Global Goals.
The Awards are organised in partnership with The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), L’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), International Association of Universities (IAU) and the Higher Education Sustainability Initiative.
