The UN SDG Action Campaign is looking for champions, initiatives and committed individuals who are wielding the power of creativity and innovation to bring us closer to a more sustainable, equitable and peaceful world. Winners and finalists will be unveiled at the 2024 UN SDG Action Awards Ceremony taking place on 29 October in Rome, Italy.
A few tips for completing your application:
- Check out the application form fields to help you prepare your application: Creativity Award, Impact Award, and Changemaker Award
- It is important to clearly demonstrate the impact of your initiative. Many applications tell a powerful story of the drivers and inspiration behind the project and/or share innovative solutions to SDG challenges. However, the most successful applications give quantifiable or verifiable evidence of the impact, including high quality videos, photos, news articles, endorsements, etc.

Anyone can mobilize action and achieve impact, even in the most challenging places and times. The campaign is committed to showcasing heroes changing the world, and sending a message of hope and infinite possibilities.
Each year, a high-level Panel of Judges and a technical review team consider over 5,000 applications and nominations from 190 countries. They select Finalists and then the Winners.
