The GIAHS acknowledges agricultural systems that combine traditional knowledge, biodiversity, landscapes, and sustainable practices, ensuring food security while safeguarding the environment. The event within the Committee of the Regions in Brussels aims to present and celebrate two GIAHS sites from Italy and three GIAHS sites from Spain. By showcasing these exemplary agricultural systems, we aim to raise awareness, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote sustainable agricultural practices
