Deadline: 14 March 2022

Inspirational projects and programmes that provide outstanding, innovative and sustainable housing solutions are encouraged to enter the 2022 World Habitat Awards now.

For over 35 years, the World Habitat Awards – run in partnership with UN-Habitat – have celebrated and showcased a wide variety of pioneering approaches to housing challenges, providing international recognition to exceptional projects and programmes. In total, more than 360 have been recognised, each one transforming the lives of individuals, families and communities through housing.

Organisations and individuals are also encouraged to nominate other projects – either by contacting us at [email protected] or by passing the information on to those that might be interested.

“World Habitat’s mission is to find and celebrate the best housing practice from around the world and transfer those ideas and practices to places where they are needed most – to benefit people who really need them.” David Ireland, Chief Executive of World Habitat.

“Please take the time to enter the 2022 World Habitat Awards – it is absolutely vital that we discover, celebrate and showcase the world’s very best housing solutions.”

Two winners of the 2022 World Habitat Awards will receive a Gold Award and £10,000. There will also be Silver and Bronze Awards for other outstanding projects and programmes. In addition, Gold Award Winners will have the opportunity to share their approach to housing solutions through World Habitat’s exChange programme.
