By 2030, university campuses will have changed and should be aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, adopted in 2015 by all UN Member States. They will have to be better integrated into the environment, more energy-efficient, less polluting but also more user-friendly and more welcoming. In short, they will have to be more sustainable and inclusive.

Are you a student or a teacher? You surely have ideas to transform these places. Whatever your background, you can be part of this change. Form a team of up to 5 people, register and submit your ideas on the online platform provided by Agorize. The CAMPUS 2030 Challenge is organized by UNRIC and the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), with the support of UNESCO.

Four main themes were selected: student living conditions; the campus in the city; new training challenges and digital on campus. You have until February 16, 2020 to share a five-page sketch.

The projects will be reviewed by a jury composed of representatives of the United Nations and AUF. The selected teams will then have until April 19, 2020 to deepen and detail their project. The award ceremony will take place in June.

The top three teams, composed of students or professors, will win a week of “Learning Expedition” abroad (valid for two people on the team: flight; training; professional meetings and accommodation).
