On the occasion of Zero Discrimination Day, Ciné-ONU Geneva screened: “Doin’ My Drugs”

Born HIV+ in 1985, Danish musician Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn is determined to use his music and his story to wipe out AIDS in his native Zambia and beyond.

 

 

 

The screening was followed by a discussion, “HIV: 40 years later, discrimination still kills” with:

  • Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn, singer and protagonist of the film
  • Kevin Osborne, Executive Director of International AIDS Society
  • Moderation by Charlotte Sector, UNAIDS
  • Opening remarks by the film’s director, Tyler Rosen.

In partnership with UNAIDS and the International AIDS Society.
