To mark World Portuguese Language Day and UNESCO Culture and Arts Education Week, the United Nations Regional Information Center and the Embassy of Portugal in Brussels have the pleasure of inviting you to a screening of the documentary “Nteregu” by Manuel Loureiro and Roger Mor.

Synopsis

Through an engaging visual and sound narrative, Nteregu reveals music as a transversal link that crosses ethnicities, languages, traditions, and histories. In a territory where more than 30 languages coexist alongside a remarkable diversity of communities, music emerges as an invaluable piece of intangible heritage, a vessel of memory and a guardian of collective identity.

Language and runtime

The documentary will be in Portuguese, with English subtitles, and has a runtime of 82 minutes.
