INVITATION: Wednesday 3 June 2020, 13:00–14:00 (CET)
Webinar invitation: Culture and education during the COVID-19 pandemic
The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) cordially invites you to a webinar on culture and education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The impact of COVID-19 on the cultural and educational sectors across the world has been enormous. Cities, including many of the 173 UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) members around the world, were quick to respond to the crisis in creative and innovative ways. The crisis has demonstrated the power of culture and education in coping with the evolving situation and has shown that culture and education provide the unique opportunity to strengthen cooperation among cities and reinforce ties between people and communities.
In order to exchange insights, practical approaches and good practices, members of the UNESCO GNLC are convening a webinar organized by UIL on Wednesday 3 June 2020 to discuss the growing role of culture and education during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. All education and culture stakeholders, UNESCO GNLC member cities and non-members are invited to join the online event, share their experiences and learn from each other.
