The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ms. Giorgia Meloni, President of the Council of Ministers of Italy.
The Secretary-General thanked the Prime Minister for Italy’s strong support in hosting the United Nations food agencies in Rome.
The Secretary-General discussed with the Prime Minister the upcoming Italian presidency of the G7 in 2024. They also discussed the migration and development.
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also exchanged views on the current situation in Libya.
