Il workshop del G20 su “Istruzione e capacity building per un’economia verde e circolare” si terrà domani 1 luglio 2021

The G20 workshop on Education and Capacity Building for a Green and Circular Economy will take place on 1 July 2021 from 10:30am-12:30pm CEST.

This workshop is being organized as part of a collaboration between UNEP, the Italian Presidency of the G20 and the Y20 to explore what the key demands are of youth and the education sector that could inform the final G20 environmental communiqué.

This workshop – which has been curated by UNEP and the Y20 and led by young leaders – will explore how G20 Environment Ministries (in coordination with other relevant institutions), can support young people to learn, understand and grow an environmental mindset through formal and non-formal education interventions. The workshop will conclude with discussions on how to create green skills and green jobs and ensure that youth are adequately prepared for these opportunities. See attached for the full agenda.

The workshop will be divided into four 30-minute sessions focusing on the following discussions: opening youth dialogue with decision makers, formal education, non-formal education and building capacities to rewire the future.
