Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Robert Abela, Prime Minister of the Republic of Malta
The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Robert Abela, Prime Minister of Malta. The Secretary-General congratulated Malta on its election as non-permanent member of the Security Council for the 2023-2024 term.
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed the war in Ukraine and its impact on food and energy supply and prices, and the situation in Libya, including the plight of migrants and refugees.
