Launch of UN Early Warnings for All Executive Action Plan
4 pm Egyptian time in Room MR25 in VIP section.High-level round table event with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres, heads of State, ministers, heads of UN and development agencies and Big Tech. The Action Plan has been drawn up by WMO, in consultation with partners, in response to the Early Warnings for All initiative by the UN Secretary-General to ensure that everyone in the world is protected by early warnings in the next five years against increasingly extreme weather.Details of the initiative are here.
