Applications are now open until 17 October 2025 for the 14th Cycle of the Dubai International Best Practices Award for Sustainable Development, which honours innovative initiatives that improve living environments worldwide.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the partnership between UN-Habitat and Dubai Municipality, dedicated to recognizing and promoting sustainable solutions that advance the New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. The 2025 award cycle also coincides with the adoption of UN-Habitat’s Strategic Plan 2026–2029, which prioritizes adequate housing, land, basic services, and sustainable urban development.
