Students4Food is a non-competitive event that brings together selected students from the Benelux Region to present how their work and research contribute to the transformation of agrifood systems and the World Food Forum (WFF) theme of 2026: “Innovate today. Nourish tomorrow.”
Building on the success of previous editions, Students4Food 2026 is organized by the FAO Liaison Office in Brussels, hosted by the Benelux Union, together with the United Nations Regional Information Centre for Western Europe (UNRIC) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Each speaker will bring fresh perspectives on global agrifood systems and sustainable development in a dynamic, open environment that encourages cross-disciplinary exchange. Students will gain international exposure through their research, be offered networking opportunities, and train their communication skills. While learning from each other’s research, students will showcase how their academic work can contribute directly to global challenges and international agendas.
