UNESCO-Uzbekistan Beruniy Prize for Scientific Research on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Established at the initiative of the Government of Uzbekistan, the Prize seeks to reward individuals, institutions and organizations that have made significant contributions to the understanding of artificial intelligence and its ethical implications.

Three prize-winners will be chosen, each receiving a Beruniy medal, a certificate and a monetary award of $30,000.

Nominations that are incomplete or received after the deadline shall not be considered. There is no age limit for the candidates. The Prize aims to be gender transformative in line with UNESCO’s Global Priority on Gender Equality, and the candidatures of women scientists and practioners are strongly encouraged.
