United Nations Global Geodetic
Centre of Excellence (UN-GGCE)

Located at the United Nations Campus in Bonn, Germany, the UN-GGCE was established through a partnership between the United Nations and the Federal Republic of Germany. Our mission is to support UN Member States in maintaining and utilizing a high-quality Global Geodetic Reference Frame (GGRF) essential for satellite navigation, Earth observation, and monitoring Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We focus on enhancing global geodetic cooperation, infrastructure, standards, and capacity building to ensure accurate and sustainable geospatial information for scientific, social, and economic development worldwide.
