A platform for mutual learning and knowledge sharing

One-stop-shop to access human rights knowledge, including promising, good and innovative practices, to support Members States in implementing international human rights norms, standards and recommendations of international human rights mechanisms.
Three knowledge hubs, mandated by the Human Rights Council, are hosted in the Gateway: the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Knowledge Hub, National Mechanisms for Implementation, Reporting and Follow-up Hub and the Universal Periodic Review Hub.

Human Rights Education and Training Database

This database, which constitutes a contribution to the World Programme for Human Rights Education (2005-ongoing), aims to facilitate information-sharing on resources available worldwide for human rights education and training. Information is accessible in three United Nations languages: English, French and Spanish.
Jurisprudence Database

The JURIS database is a central repository of the jurisprudence of the United Nations Treaty Bodies (Committees).
It facilitates access to decisions on individual complaints on human rights violations by eight treaty bodies and aims at assisting the public, States, national human rights institutions, civil society, academia, as well as the United Nations and international regional mechanisms to research the vast body of legal interpretation of international human rights law as it has evolved over the past years.
It may also provide guidance to persons preparing complaints to be submitted to the Committees by providing access to the views and decisions taken by them on specific human rights issues regarding different countries.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights Translation Project
