The volume of goods that entered Gaza this weekend is only a fraction of what is needed after days of complete siege. UN Relief Chief has urged for an increase in aid access to at least 100 trucks a day.
UNRWA confirmed another six staff have been killed, bringing the total to 35 staff killed. Additionally, at least 40 UNRWA installations have been damaged since the violence began on 7 October.

More aid arrived in Gaza on Sunday aboard 14 trucks that passed through the Rafah crossing with Egypt, the UN Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator said in a post on social media.
However, UNRWA warned that its fuel supply will run out in 3 days. Agency chief Lazzarini urged ‘all parties and those with influence over them’ to immediately allow fuel supplies into Gaza.

In a joint statement, five UN agencies said that the aid that entered Gaza on Saturday “is only a small beginning and far from enough”. They warned that “Gaza was a desperate humanitarian situation before the most recent hostilities. It is now catastrophic. The world must do more,” they said.

Speaking at the Rafah crossing in Egypt, António Guterres emphasized the urgent need for life-saving aid to swiftly enter Gaza.
UN humanitarians said on Friday that an agreement to unlock aid deliveries across the border to Gaza was near, as UN chief António Guterres arrived at the Rafah crossing saying aid must move as quickly as possible.
